Beyond Conflict & Covid 19

Video on mental health and Covid 19

Mental health and Covid 19 video

Covid 19 is a pandemic that also has a profound impact on the mental health of the most vulnerable people around the world, already living in fear and desperation in refugee camps and post conflict zones. The WHO recognises that this virus has added a new dimension of trauma to their lives. Covid 19 has a health and economic impact which has led to a rise in depression and suicide amongst this community.

Beyond Conflict’s ambassador Richard Wolf, an Emmy award winning film director who has also worked with the UN to provide clear information during past health crises, has made a short video for us on Covid 19 and its mental health impact. It contains information links at the end of the filmto help frontline workers and individuals.  Please watch and pass it on. Stay safe and see you on the other side.
