Scoping mission shows need to expand support at Cox’s Bazar

July 2022

Following the success of Phase 1 at the Cox’s Bazar refugee camp in Bangladesh, Beyond Conflict and our partner on the ground, Global Development Consortium (GDC), undertook a scoping mission to assess ongoing needs.

Among the issues covered was refresher training for frontline workers from Phase 1 and the sign-up of new NGOs to take part in Phase 2. GDC also met organisations in the camp wishing to form a consortium to deliver a new programme for mothers and babies born in the camp as well as other vulnerable groups.
A summary of the scoping report can be read here.
